Hello MOM Friends,
Well today is Sunday. My husband is at church helping to set up and will be home to pick me up between 9 and 9:30 for our 10:30 church service. I love church! I feel great when I go and I feel like I can really help people. We are very involved in our church. My hubby plays for their church softball team. We have volunteered and worked for the church yard sale. We donated tickets for our cousin in law's concert for the church to auction off to raise money for their mission trips. We are donating lemonade for an upcoming barbecue. And I am helping to start a community kids project. We LOVE EVERY SECOND OF IT!! We have met wonderful people and we can't wait to become official members of our church.Does anyone else love their church as we do? What do you do for or with your church?

Good Morning Members & Friends
Good Morning Members and friends,
I am getting ready to take my son on a play date with one of his best friends from Preschool. My son is a very active, and I use the term lightly, 5 and a half year old little boy with an opinion about everything!!! Ha ha He would not stay in his own bed, claiming he had leg cramps again, is still asleep. I am enjoying the peace and quiet for right now. My husband is asleep also. Oh I forgot to tell you he was laid off this past January from somewhere that thought it was more important to please their shareholders than to please their loyal employees. So they downsized and are not doing as well. I still won't shop there!! So he is searching for a job. I currently work very part time, two mornings a week. I want to always be available for my son.
Any readers out there in similar situations, layoffs, not wanting to work full time?
